I'll start with the most serious issue with the Saxony apartment, which is that they violate multiple federal laws in their application and living process. As someone with special needs and as a real estate attorney, I see this all the time, so I've come to expect it, but the Saxony is in a special class of its own. As an applicant, they have ridiculous and excessive documentation requirements, including multiple interviews even after sending them doctor's reports of your condition. Then, they institute pet policies and attempt to apply them to service animals, which is a direct ADA violation under the reasonable exception law. I've already filed an ADA discrimination complaint for their horrendous behavior, and I have a meeting with HUD officials to discuss their history of behavior, but if you have special needs, I highly recommend looking elsewhere because they don't want you here.

As for the apartment, well, I live directly across from a drug dealer so my apartment smells like weed all of the time and I hear knocking/yelling throughout the day and night as users look for their dealer. It's ridiculous. Of course the complex does nothing about it.

The gym is an absolute joke. Anyone who says different has never been or is a Richdale employee. All the equipment is 10+ years old and in poor condition. They don't even offer basic equipment like a bench press or a squat rack. No barbells, and the dumbbells only go to up 50lbs. All of this is included in your $40 "amenity" package that they won't mention until you're signing your lease.

The parking spaces are incredibly small and for some reason they've installed curb stops when they already have curbs, so getting in and out is even more difficult. You'll undoubtedly be nicked by someone. I've been here less than a month and have found 3 new marks on my car.

I was told my apartment would have carpet, which is better suited for my service animal, but of course, when I first open the door, it's hardwood. So he's had to be retrained to be able to do his requirements with a different flooring setup because hardwood presents problems for his tasks. Would've been great to have not been lied to.

They have an absolutely ridiculous package pickup system. They don't allow door to door deliveries, so I hope you enjoy leaving work early or using your lunch break to stop by the office because your package will never be home when you get here. It's also a ridiculous check in check out package system, but they normally forget to check your package out so you will get multiple emails "reminding" you of a package that you picked up days ago. It's a terrible system that's inconvenient for the residents and causes unnecessary work for the employees and only results in frustration for everyone.

Overall, terrible apartments with terrible policies. You shouldn't even bother looking here. I'm really looking forward to the upcoming lawsuits with them as it will be a great opportunity to improve the living conditions for other people with needs. Good luck finding somewhere else to live.
